Welcome to my RBC CSC Future Launch Scholarship Application Presentation Blog. (Wow. That's a mouthful). I have been working super hard over the last week to put together a Prezi presentation to showcase what post-graduate life has looked like for me. It presents where I currently am in my career journey and where I aspire to go. I've never created a Prezi Presentation before so it was a great learning experience for me. Trying to get all the subtopics to align properly and connected to the right panels was definitely a challenge. Though COVID 19 has put a wretched twist in many of our plans, it has also provided us with many opportunities, especially time to reflect and reassess our visions for ourselves. I hope this presentation is able to show my passion for financial literacy and my determination not to give up despite the digitization of many of my courses. It would be awesome if you check out the link to the presentation below. https://prezi.com/view/RRnZXogze5Y3Ux2nk51a/ For those that want to know more, RBC is trying to help young Canadians prepare for the changes in the workforce, by giving the younger generation the opportunity to get work experience, grow their network, gain new skills, and enhance their mental well-being. The scholarship is catered toward young Canadian youth age 15-29 who are enrolled in part time school or not in school, are Canadian Citizens/Permanent Residents, and do not work at RBC. The scholarship is worth $1,500 and will be given to 450 people. And the best part, your grades and transcripts don't matter! All you need is to tell your personal story why this scholarship could really benefit you and a reference letter from someone close to you. The RBC Future Launch Scholarship is due Aug 27, 2020 EST so make sure to get your submissions in asap!

Please fill out this survey about financial literacy at www.surveymonkey.com/r/D5GXD6G. Thank you for all your feedback. I would really appreciate your help if you could share the survey with your friends over social media and help be get the word out about my project.
It's still mind boggling to me that this is real. I can't believe I'm really doing it. I really am putting my ideas out there and putting them into action. I'm actually tacking the idea of Financial Literacy and introducing it to Youth and Young Adults. I've learned so much already and can't wait to share with you all the results that I get. Nothing better to start off the new year than with a strong resolution. In the Chinese calendar I am the year of the dog, so this is my year! I have tons in store for this year so make sure to check in on all my adventures.
I've decided to start off the year with a positive attitude and a new 30 Day Habit Log Challenge. It's a challenge meant to test my tenacity and perseverance. You can print and use my log or create your own. Nothing more fun than starting the new year with some creativity. Come and join me in welcoming the new year, a new start, and a new you. For more information, click here. The holidays are here. Here's to the start of a new Business Project idea I want to launch. It's called YA REAL Life Skills. It's about providing students with nonacademic REAL life skills that are not taught in school. t's time to put those skills that we wish were taught into being taught. There's lots of new things in store to come so stay tuned. Happy Birthday Phillip!
This is my very first medley. Hope you enjoy it. It was a birthday present for my friend Phillip's 23rd Birthday. I started it last year but was too scared to send it to him so I finally got the courage to finish it today and upload it. It has some of our favourite songs. I recorded with my laptop camera so I apologize if it's the video or the audio is a little bit poor. Overall, it took me 3 days on and off to put this together. So here is the product of my 3 days of hard work in all its horrible glory. I actually made a total of 13 practice recordings and 4 videos before this one. I was so scared of the camera and kept messing up and having to restart but eventually I got through it. There's still a lot of mistakes but it was a great first try. I loved the experience and I know there is tons of space for improvement. I got to learn how to make transitions between different keys, transpose music, and use different types of fillers. I'd definitely be up for trying something like this again. There are 13 songs. See if you can recognize a few of them. OST Conference 2017! If you have never been to an OST, it's a ton of fun. OST means "out of school time". All those extra-curricular sports clubs, volunteer, daycare, social service centres activities are all types of OST. I'll be working with the Boys and Girls Club Big Brothers and Sisters Foundation during the summer and they invited me to join the conference. We learned everything from pocket and minimalist games to volunteer and behaviour management. Nothing is more entertaining and fun than seeing a bunch of adults trying to play Children's games. My favourite game by far was Bob the Weasel. Everyone stands in a circle shoulder to shoulder and there's one person in the middle. A rubber chicken or any kind of large toy is passed around the circle behind the back of the middle player. The middle player who is it has to try and guess where the chicken is all the while everyone is singing "Bob the Weasel, keep it going, keep it going". Someone at any time could raise the chicken really quickly and hide it. If you saw it then you get to sing "I saw the Weasel". The middle person gets 3 guesses. I'd highly recommend trying it! Hi Everyone, This is my first time starting a blog. The reason I wanted to start a blog was to make a log of my aspirations, new things I try, things that I learned, and new projects I am working on. I have a lot of new surprises in store. I'm still not very good at using Weebly and trying to learn the ropes about web-designing but look forward to more cool stuff in the future :). Feel free to comment about the same or a similar challenge you might have done and how well it worked out for you or new ones that you think I should try. This is actually my second blog. I was using Squarespace previously but unfortunately learned that it has a 14 day free trial only. Henceforth, I've been testing out different providers including Weebly and WIX.
